Endless
possibilities.
possibilities.
In 2014, at 24 years old, I hit a turning point. I was constantly tired, always running behind, and felt disconnected from my body. I wanted to walk into a gym and know exactly what I was doing—to take control of my health, build strength, and move with confidence. That simple goal sparked a transformation. I started with weight training classes, and the rest is history.
That journey led me to become a personal trainer, yoga instructor, triathlete, and EMT, earning my degree in Kinesiology from the University of San Francisco. My relentless pursuit of knowledge in human performance, longevity, and movement optimization fuels everything I do today.
My experience extends beyond traditional fitness. At the College of San Mateo’s Adapted Physical Education Wellness program, I worked alongside expert trainers to create tailored fitness programs for individuals with disabling or limiting conditions. Our goal wasn’t just movement—it was transformation. We focused on building cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility, all while fostering confidence and independence through structured, strategic training.
In 2017, I expanded my expertise into yoga and movement intelligence, becoming an instructor and the face of a strength-infused yoga practice known as Ballrz Yoga. This experience fine-tuned my ability to read the human body, understanding the delicate balance between mobility, strength, and recovery.
One of the most valuable lessons I carry forward from that time is a mantra from my mentor, Will Cristobal:
“Never should on yourself or others.”
Progress isn’t linear. Every day presents a new challenge, a new victory, a new question to explore. True coaching isn’t about prescribing workouts—it’s about guiding individuals toward sustainable, long-term success.
To deepen my understanding of the human body, I became an EMT, gaining hands-on experience in emergency medicine. I wanted to see firsthand what happens when health breaks down—and more importantly, how to prevent it. After working in emergency response, one truth became clear:
That realization shaped the foundation of Elite Start Fitness. My mission is simple:
